As most of us are unable to travel, we would like to invite you on a virtual tour of Zakopane and the Tatra Mountains. We would like to show you all the best things Zakopane have on offer but also teach you some of the cultural and historical  aspects that makes our region so unique. We prepared a new form of introducing Zakopane for everyone who can't come and visit this amazing place in person. Also for those who plan to come here and need some guidelines before the visit. 

The online tour will give you an idea of the town from its early history and culture to modern day Zakopane and how it came to be the most famous tourist destination for Polish people and toursits from abroad. You will get a chance to listen to some local folk music and learn about the people who had a huge influence on creating Zakopane's life, its architecture and lifestyle. You will also learn why the Tatra mountains are so unique for people here and all over Poland. You will discover what is Oscypek, how it is made and why it is so strongly connected to the region. We picked topics and places around Zakopane that we think are the most interesting and will provide a fun experience for you. This is the best way to visit Zakopane, when you can't travel here.

  The view is amazing and the facilities are great to unwind at the end of an action packed active day, which Retha is also happy to organise for us. We would recommend a hike in the area, fat biking and a snowboard lesson organised through Retha. Next time we are in Zakopane we would definitely stay here again!
